We’re modernizing the U.S. Duty Drawback process — helping brands recover the import duties they’ve already paid on goods that are exported, destroyed, or unused. What was once slow, manual, and confusing is now becoming fast, accurate, and automated.

 

We’re hiring a Senior Drawback Specialist who brings deep expertise, judgment, and leadership to our growing operations team. This person will be instrumental in shaping how Evana processes claims, improves compliance, and scales refunds for brands nationwide.

 

What You’ll Do

• Work in close collaboration with our Licensed Customs Brokers to prepare, review, and submit duty drawback claims
• Bring a deep understanding of drawback, CBP requirements, and industry best practices to strengthen our processes and compliance posture.
• Analyze import/export data to maximize refund opportunities while maintaining 100% accuracy.
• Oversee claim packet production and help train and mentor junior team members as we scale.
• Partner with Operations and Technology to streamline workflows, reduce human touchpoints, and improve efficiency.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert, advising leadership on compliance strategy and operational improvements.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of hands-on experience generating and filing drawback claim packets.
• Deep technical knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS codes, entry summaries, and drawback program structures.
• Experience working directly with Customs Brokers and/or CBP on drawback-related matters.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and claim types while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
• A builder’s mindset — eager to help create SOPs, systems, and processes that scale.
• Passionate about helping small and mid-sized U.S. businesses recover capital they can reinvest in growth.

• You’ve led or supported Privilege Applications or Accelerated Payment filings.
• You’ve helped design or implement internal SOPs or automation tools.
• You’ve previously worked in a startup, brokerage, or duty drawback firm and are ready to help shape the next generation of this industry.
